We are in the midst of an exciting period for buying and selling. Last month we saw healthy sales activity! It became common for homes to be sold quickly and in most cases in multiple offers. Here's what you need to know:
- Closed sales increased 5.3%. In fact, sales are up and they are expected to stay up.
- # of homes for sale is down compared to last year. More inventory is necessary.
- Prices are up compared to last year at this time with a 5.7% increase in median sales price.
- Mortgage rates are low.
It's a good time to be a seller, and conditions are good for serious buyers!
